Every Purely Gates Embroidery Design Collection (digital download or CD) includes Design Instructions, Color Change Info folder, the Design Files folder, and a Thread Conversion Chart.

This pdf file contains all the important instructions for stitching Purely Gates Mylar Embroidery® designs as intended. Included is color and thread information, mylar description and instructions, applique instructions if required and copyright and license policies.

If you are stitching a Purely Gates Mylar Embroidery® design for the first time it is highly recommended that you read all of this document first before using the designs.

Color Change Info Folder

The Color Change Info folder contains two items: a Color Change pdf document with color change information and a Picture Files Folder with images of all the designs in the collection.

The Color Change pdf document contains a page for every design in the collection and shows all the color changes for each design. It is also the only place you will find the important indicator for when to place the mylar and when to remove the excess in the sequence of stitching. It is recommended to either print this document for reference when stitching or view it on a computer screen.

The Picture Files Folder includes an image for every design included in a collection with the design file name making it easier to find a particular design to stitch.

Design Files Folder

The Design Files folder contains a folder for each machine brand’s format. You will select the design folder for your brand of machine.

Thread Conversion pdf file

The pdf document coverts the thread number found on the color chart which is PolyX 40 or Exquisite brand to Isacord Polyester. If you need a conversion to other thread brands, most can be found by searching the internet.
